Tracing My Life in Smiles: Day 30

one of the funnest times I have ever had was going out paintballing with all my friends, we left at like 8 in the morning to get there early and spent all day playing. It was so much fun crawling all over the fields and getting dirty. She wanted this picture and i was giving her a hard time about it and kept moving out of the picture to make her laugh. Finally she snuggled behind me and took this picture. Its still one of my favorite pictures.

This past friday was also my fraternity’s formal. It was a fun night, had a great dinner, won another award that was voted on by my peers, the purple heart, which will hang on my wall soon. Also tied for another award D.M.A. (Drunkest Man Alive) this is my fourth award since joining. Went to a great party afterwards. After waking up on a random couch to throw up a few times and not really remembering the total volume of alcohol I had consumed, just knowing it was possibly a little too much (have to live up to my title), I am able to say Sammy Date Night was well worth it. The stories I heard the next days that I don’t remember were great and they just keep getting wilder. I can’t wait for next year.

This past friday was the MG Walk supporting the Mysthenia Gravis Foundation, this foundation is searching for a cure to the disease that took my young sister’s life. It was an emotional day for me, but with my family and some very caring friends that joined in the walk with me it was very fun and I had a great time. I know my sister would have loved it. The foundation was very kind and dedicated the walk to her as well as had a moment of silence in memory of her. I am happy I participated and I will continue to support this group in helping people like my lovely sister who took on this challange with such passion and strength. I love you BB and miss you.

Our new year tradition, my family always cheer each other with sparkling cider. My sister loved the stuff and we would always bring in the new year laughing and smiling reminiscing over the year and enjoying the company of family.

My niece Kasumi brightens my day every time I see her. She is still discovering everything in the world and laughing while she does it. Her smile always makes me smile and her laugh is contagious.

On set of a class shoot. Even though film making is never easy, the long days, the heavy lifting, the ridiculous conditions; its always fun and worth it. Film will always be my passion and it will consume my life even more than it already has.

Me and my good friend George go our for our adventurous man dates after nights of drinking at a sushi restaurant on the corner from my house. The sushi is great, the alcohol is cheap, and we just have a great time late night when everyone else is too fucked up to function.

This was taken on a party bus after dinner at my fraternity’s formal. It was a blast. We ate great food, danced on the bus, went to an awesome hotel room and partied, celebrating not only my fraternity, but it also happened to be our two year aniversary. It was a great night spent with all the people that meant the most to me.

The charriot race portion during the Battle of the Greek Gods phillanthropy. Our charriot was by far the largest and most elaborate. It was a lot of fun racing that thing and the entire day was a lot of fun just messing round and being ourselves. Still one of the funnest phillanthropies I participated in.

I have lived nearly my entire life in las vegas and it had taken me up until last summer to go out to the hoover damn. It was also the first time I had technically  ever been to arizona. The day was fun, drove out early to catch the tour, messed around in the exibits they had of the building of the damn. It was a simple day spent with some of my best friends, its a day I’ll never forget.

In class playing with our panasonic pan head on our fisher dolly with it mounted on the gear head. I love any being behind the camera. Film is my passion and being able to camera opperate, pull focus, dolly grip, any position that puts me at the camera are my absolute favorites

UNLV Runnin’ Rebels! Our basketball games are always a riot and fun, even though most of the games I have been to end up with my friends and I only watching the first quarter and spending the rest of the game in the concession stands drinking, yelling, and nearly being kicked out every game. Its always a fun time.

A few weeks ago my brothers and I decided have our selves a gamming party. We stayed up until almost 8am playing Guitar Hero and drinking. It was a fun night of just having fun, reminded me of a long time ago where this was a regular thing, just chilling, talking, and having a few beers and enjoying my brother’s company.
