This challange of watching all of IMDB’s top 250 films is having me run in to quite a few trilogies, and instead of just watching those films on the list, I feel it is necessary to watch these trillogies or anthologies in their completion to fully learn about and understand the key charaters and their own evolution through these trilogies. Next up for the list is The Good The Bad and The Ugly the final installment in Clint Eastwoods acclaimed The Man With No Name trilogy. So I’m journeying off to the wild west tonight to see these classic westerns and will have a report for you all soon.
Finally my godfather trilogy collection came in the mail. So i will be watching all three tonight after work which will take care of numbers 2 and 3 of the imdb 250. Movie night tonight. I can’t wait.
So this is the start of a new month, my loyal followers you know what this means. A new challange. But now that we are well over the half way mark of this year long challange I am going to try something different. This challange is much greater than those of past months and may take longer as the next challange is the IMDB Top 250, which is the 250 top user rated films in the world. These are not decided by theorists, students or filmmakers. This list is decided by you, the film viewer, i am excited to see any trends or patterns in what the masses find exciting and worth viewing. I will watch/rewatch every film on the list, therefore updates may no longer be daily, but i will work to view as many as possible as quickly as possible.
